Brigljević Distillery is a boutique distillery in Croatia founded in 2002.
We’re a father-daughter duo with a passion for crafting spirits that represent our homeland in a brand new light.
To us, spirit-making is an art form: we draw inspiration from tradition, but we also innovate playfully to create exceptional flavors.
OUR CRAFT
To create rich and full-bodied spirits, we rely on a combination of Scottish, French, and Croatian traditional methods.

We utilize natural fermentation with native yeast only. After double distillation in traditional copper pot stills, all spirits mature in carefully selected casks.
We focus especially on cask maturation as an essential element in developing complexity in our spirits. That is why we have built an elaborate cask management system with casks sourced from around the world.
OUR FOOTPRINT
We source all raw ingredients from organic orchards and vineyards in the vicinity of our distillery.
Our collaboration with local fruit growers, winemakers, and brewers provides us with the best nature has to offer. We continuously strive to grow our community of suppliers and do our part in encouraging sustainable agriculture practices.
Additionally, our distillery production footprint is naturally very low: our copper pot stills are powered by recycled wood chips, and all organic waste from distillation is repurposed as compost for our vegetable garden.

MILJENKO BRIGLJEVIĆ
FOUNDER & MASTER DISTILLER
After a successful career in film and television, Miljenko pursued his longtime passion for spirit-making. For over 20 years, he has been a trailblazer with an artistic approach to crafting fine spirits.
His unique vision has led to many firsts: Croatian gin, unique cask-matured brandies, and his latest pursuit, Croatian whisky.
GABRIJELA BRIGLJEVIĆ
DISTILLERY MANAGER
Gabrijela has been part of the family business for over a decade. With an extensive background in marketing, her passions for storytelling and fine spirits have come together in her role as distillery manager.
She is devoted to mastering the art of spirit-making while sharing the story behind every sip with new generations of spirit enthusiasts.
